The Italian dissemination event organised within the program Erasmus+ KA2 Project #DArt4City was held on Friday 10 February 2023 in the spaces of the House of Fantasy and the Municipal Palace of Sarmede in Italy.
An afternoon dedicated to teachers, educators, trainers, creatives, and curious people who wanted to learn more about the interdisciplinary #STEAM approach. Together with Anna Mancuso and Cristina De Negri, STEAM expert teachers, this approach was explored in depth through creative workshops and the presentation of the STEAM DArt4City paths. Forty-five participants were divided into three groups that were able to follow the workshops ‘Creating atmospheres – STEAM between art, electronics and creativity’ and ‘Moving images – Citizenship pathway on cinematographic and audio-visual language’ in rotation.
In addition, thanks to Giacomo Bizzai, a professional reader and promoter of books and illustration, participants were guided through the 40th International Exhibition of Illustration for Children Le immagini della fantasia. In conclusion, all STEAM projects, implemented by all partners involved, were presented, also in the presence of Prof. Nicolas Montes, project coordinator.
The event curated by Alterevo Società Benefit srl was part of the Erasmus+ project “DArt4City – Empowering Arts and creativity for the cities of tomorrow”, realised by Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, Mathisis.org , Alterevo Società Benefit srl and Foundation Štěpán Zavřel.
