On 10 March in Florence at the “Fiera Didacta Italia”, teacher Cristina De Negri was able to present the STEAM project “Images in motion” created with the students of the “Giovanni Pascoli” primary school in Vittorio Veneto.
Through the interdisciplinarity of the STEAM subjects, this educational path was illustrated having as core topic the cinematographic and audiovisual language, its history, its rules and its functioning. Each participant was able to experiment with the construction of some pre-cinema machines using simple materials, but also activating the mechanism by programming some educational robotics kits.
“Fiera Didacta Italia” is the most important exhibition on innovation in the world of schools, organized by the National Institute for Documentation Innovation Research Educational (INDIRE). It aims to encourage debate on the world of education between institutions, associations and entrepreneurs, to create a meeting place between schools and companies in the sector. On the one hand, the main companies in the school supply chain participate in the fair: from publishing to construction, from technologies to furnishings, from stationery to services designed for schools, from museum education to tourist destinations, from training to music education up to pathways for transversal skills and guidance; on the other, teachers and managers with top-level training events.
